Iris Elbaz comes from a contemporary dance background having studied in France and Israel before her skiing accident which eventually lead her to her osteopathic training. In 1999 she became the in house Osteopath for the Savoy Group Hotels. After teaching at the London School of Osteopathy she came to Oxford Brookes in 2003 and lectured here until 2016. Iris has a wide interest in many therapies including Feldenkreis, Pilates and Yoga. She has also lectured CPD (Continued Professional Development) sessions in the UK and to groups of Physiotherapists in Israel and is in close contact with orthopaedic surgeons in both the UK and Israel. She left the osteopathic register in 2025.

Philip von Hauenschild graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 1998. Having studied the violin until the age of 22 (and having suffered back ache!) he became interested in posture and movement patterns. Consequently his work at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London working with primary movement patterns, combined with his love of racket sports emphasised the need for a whole body osteopathic concept. He taught at the BCOM (British College of Osteopathic Medicine) for 5 years and from 2002 -2016 at Oxford Brookes University as a senior lecturer and clinic co-ordinator. He has lectured and ran courses in the UK, Germany, Israel, Denmark and Portugal. 
From 2010 until 2020 he was the in-house Osteopath for Harley Davidson Europe.
He resigned the GOSC register in 2022 due to political differences in how osteopathy should be defined and managed, and  started to work with colleagues to establish the Nature Health Access  to draw together Musculo-skeletal approaches, mind-soul- body unity, and natural well being solutions. Philip left the osteopathic register in 2023.


Bernard Chauchet qualified with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy). He enjoys using a variety of techniques to tailor his treatments to the specific needs of every client. His interest in cranial and paediatric osteopathy led him to complete further studies at the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy. He is currently following a specialisation in paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children.

Bernard’s holistic approach to treatment incorporates structural and cranial techniques, exercise, life-style analysis and lymphatic drainage. He aims to help the body restore its maximum innate state of health through its self healing ability. This enables it to cope more effectively with the stresses of daily life.

Bernard is particularly interested in working with newborn babies, children and post-partum women. He also has an interest in presentations involving temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). He assesses and treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic and acute, and enjoys working both in a structural and cranial way.
